Following steps should be taken while cleansing:Always tuck your hair up before applying cream to avoid making hair greasy.Apply cleansing cream in generous quantity on the cheeks, chin, forehead and neck. Massage it with a light upward and outward movement. Always use moist cotton to remove the cream as dry cotton absorbs moisture from the skin. Repeat the cleansing process two or three times until the tissue is clean.

Preparation of cleansing cream – Cucumber cleansing cream:

Ingredients: Bee wax – 30gms, spermaceti – 30gms, olive oil – 500ml, cucumber juice 1/2cup and sodium benzoate – 1tsp. Put a bowl in an open pot filled with boiling water. Pour spermaceti and bee wax in the bowl. After the have melted remove the bowl from the pot .Pour olive oil and cucumber juice. Keep stirring. While the mixture is still warm add sodium benzoate to it. After cooling it can be used for cleansing.

Lime complexion lotion:

Ingredients: Lime flowers- 25gms, distilled water-250ml, sodium benzoate- 1/4tsp.Put the lime flowers in the boiling water for an hour. Strain and let the mixture cool. Add sodium Benzoate to it. This is very good complexion lotion and for better results. Add equal part of rose water to it. Keep it under refrigeration and apply it with help of cotton buds.

Lavender complexion lotion:

Ingredients: Borax powder -1tsp, Rose water – 1cup, olive oil – 2tbsp,

Lavender extracts – 1/2cup.Mix Borax powder in rose water and add boiling oil to the mixture. Keep stirring. When cool add lavender extract to it. It can keep under refrigeration for more than two months.

These lotions not only improve color but also act as a screen between skin and the sun rays.
